What do you think the top ten rock or rock/ rock and roll songs are? I am just wondering about the 70s and 80s mostly.

This isn't an incredibly accurate top ten, to be honest I just pulled some rock songs from the 70's and 80's that I liked and put them in my favourite order, I tried not to add much punk or metal, but if I could it could be alot more accurate

Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden (Yes, I know it's metal)
Torture Me - Red Hot Chilli Peppers (I love the bass riffs)

No particular order, however I find that's quite a nice mix of newer and older stuff, and the variety is what makes me like my music collection. I like the Chilli Peppers, Though my mates beg to differ :'(

 

I think you and Reappeh have my taste in music, but no metal man. Rock is the only genre that relates to me.

 

I want to complete my ipod, what other rocks songs do you guys recommend.

 

Iron Maiden is the older stuff, it doesn't involve screaming if that's what puts you off. Iron Maiden's old stuff is a lot like modern/90s rock actually.

Although not really one to remember when songs came out but I'll post my favorites of all times not just 70\80s and I'm sure a lot of these wont be what you consider rock and roll but I don't like using sub genres that much and another thing these arn't my all time favorites as I cannot really put songs into a order of my favorites because every song I have is or was my favorite at one point or another.
