How they scammed:received 1207$/1208$
Once a person tells me it is sent I immediately check the blockchain transaction to avoid discussion upon receiving less.
Picture: On the left value when just received, on the right value a few minutes later.
Upon seeing that I received about 12$ less I contacted Sammy and confronted him with the issue at hand.
He displayed a coinbase payment from coinbase, we all know coinbase vs blockchain rate can be different and blockchain is used as standard bitcoin rate.
He then went ahead and applied the sent amount on preev.
0.03514008 BTC, now the funny part is that he took the amount including the sending fee:
So if we look at the actual amount paid:
Even on his precious preev it displays 12$ short. Also the fact that he offered me 6$ makes it feel like he knows he is in the wrong but just not willing to admit it. For your information I did not take the 6$ payment as I declined it due to being owed 12.
I would like to request the amount owed to be paid to me and a twc applied for bad trading practices to Sammy.
