hey the only thing i will write here is that you can see in my managers sythe pm he quite clearly states " no deal has been finalized yet" I issued an offer and was not planning to close or proceed with any deal until my developer reviewed the code at which point I would close/finalize the sale. I never indicated any attempt to close a sale, i quite clearly said the word "offer" and clearly in the sythe pm relating to the deal stated "no deal has been finalized".

 

The deal was not finalized because your dev had not yet reviewed the code. But the terms of the trade was that you would be 100% sending payment when you found there is no malicious code. I am confident in my developer's code and I know it is not malicious. This is why I sent you the project first without receiving any form of payment. You said the payment would be sent if the code was non-malicious. Which it is. Now you are going back on your words and cancelling the deal when you have the entire project. And you expect me to "trust" you that it won't be shared with anyone. Like what? I don't mind waiting for your developer to review the code. But now you're saying no deal because I made a report. This is not a valid reason. It goes against the terms of the trade.

 

To set a few things straight:
The service that was traded is NOT a "project" because work was not done FOR the buyer. The item that was traded was a product because the solution was pre-made by the seller (or an employee of the seller), and a copy was being sold to the buyer.

That being said, the product is still intellectual property, and sending the file is an irreversible transaction by nature and you can't just say "it's not final" upon receiving as an excuse for not paying. Software sales doesn't work that way.

You have a case to deny payment if the software fails the inspection by your developer, as per your agreement. However, you offered $1,500 for software, the software was delivered, and you're refusing payment without any grounds to do so.

Therefore, I am giving a 3 month ban and a DNT to @OFFICIALRSGOLDRUSH . If you complete the transaction or have grounds to deny payment, you may dispute both actions immediately in the Dispute a Ban, DNT, or TWC forum
