40 defence or 70 defence?

get 45 defense much better in my opinion

 

For the love of god, no more than 60 def.
You can be 45 def 99 range 94 mage 90 str and 60 attack, and you will WTFSHETPWN.

 

70 will work out only if you wanna barrow pk, like dharoking for example. You could go 75/99/70 and it would still probably be pretty amazing.

Up to you really, but I think the choice is between 45 and 70. Not 40 and 70.

 

if u plan on fighting with barrows and tanking then 70 if not stick to rune pure at 40-45
