OpenOSRS Menu Entry Swapper Ban?

I'm wondering how likely a ban is using a menu entry swapper on openosrs for like blackjacking?

I wouldn't be going any harder than usual. EXP rates would be the same as if I wasn't using it, it's just for my wrists really.

I know there is definitely a ban chance. Just wondering if its a high chance and if it tends to be a perm or temp ban.

During the last Deadmanmode season i saw Sparcmac openly using it at his gilded altar on stream... he said it was fine so i dont know.

I personally have not heard of anyone being banned for using it (i have multiple friends who have blackjacked 99 thieving using menu entry swapper) - realistically as with anything, its your risk to take but just use with caution.

 

Sparc Mac wouldn't have openly used it doing blackjacking though as left click blackjacking is bannable and using bones in the menu entry swapper on an altar is not. I'm pretty sure though that it's a low chance to be temp banned blackjacking, but at the same time don't abuse it, and use with caution.

 

I presume its the same principle as you cant change the standard interface in the standard os client... its a grey area.. i think you just have to keep an eye on xp rate and that would be my recommendation.

 

I'm 99% sure that Jagex posted with some depth about it on the main site a week after left click blackjack and construction were released on osbuddy. They pointed out some of the menu entry swapper options, most importantly the two stated above. Runelite would get rid of the "use" bones on altar if Jagex made it bannable, but at the same time be cautious. Also, I've used it for several months on the main towards 200m xp...
