Many of you may have seen a similar thread by me a few weeks ago, titled "....:::retty good money making idea::::....", which told a pretty good way to make about 80k and hour using air tallisman's. As of recent, the price of air tallismans has plummeted! I assume this is partially due to the everyday price fluctuation, but more due to the fact of all of us exploiting the glitch, if you would call it that. I managed to make a few million, and I hope you guys did, too, but the real reason I'm posting is to show the neat graph I found in the GE Database.

It looks like the price was a pretty stable 133 gp each for a long time, with a major spike on the first of April. So, i assume it will go back down again, but let's hope not =)


To be honeset, I think it's pretty cool, and I just thought I'd share it with y'all. When I started collecting tallismans, about 100 would sell for max price instantly. (Which was about 500 at the time) I noticed the price increased to over 700 at max price. Today I went to sell them and they wouldn't even go for the minimum 193 gp. But hope fully, with more available options to use air talisman's, the price will increase again. Good luck. Below is the original way to acquire a large quantity of talisman's.. It will still work, but it might take a few hours or days to sell, and you won't get that much money. It's still pretty good, tho. about 40k an hour (minus the selling time)...if i did the math right.

Requirements: To have NOT done the 'Rune Mysteries' quest.

1)To start, find a guy named "Duke Horacio" Located in the west room on the second floor of Lumbrige Castle.

2)Talk to him, and he will give you an Air Talisman

3)Drop the Air Talisman, and talk to him again. He will give you another.

4)Drop that Air Talisman, and repeat steps 3 and 4, until there are about 20 air tallismans on the ground (or until they start to disappear).

5) run up the flight up stairs and pop 'em into the suprisingly close bank.

6)WITHDRAW ALL AIR TALISMAN'S NOTED! When they are noted, Duke Horacio will still give you another even when the noted one's are in your inventory. You will still have to drop the individual ones, but not the noted ones. (Which works out great, because you don't have to worry about them dissappearing!)

7)When you get alot of them, sell in the GE (Or hold on to them until the price goes back up)



and another question: Would the correct spelling and pronunciation be 'talisman's' or 'talismen'...?

You can probably use the tallys for rcing exp. Just craft them into tiaras, I think you can get rcing exp this way. I don't remember. Rcing is more profitable than this.

this isnt a glitch... you can also do this with dragon shiled things lol, like everyone knows this and its not really worth it...

the new g/e database could help us all, know if the prices are going up, making us 1 step ahead of some people (the nubs who don't know about the database)
