Explanation of the trade: Purchased 1B via RSGoldRush website (rsgoldrush.com) on 5 March using G2A
Amount scammed: 1B 2007 gold / $681.38
How they scammed: After ordering, the website informed me that I was over their internal limit for first time guest. I'd never been limited when using G2A on other sites so I didn't know this was a thing. We agreed upon a refund. They stated that they initiated that refund process on 5 March. If it's in G2A's hand to process then that's fine; however, I'd just like proof that they've requested the refund from G2A as G2A did not state that they had received the refund request.

So first off, I had a self-requested DNT at the time of this order for a personal reason. My order was directly through the seller's website and did not utilize Sythe. I purposefully kept my Sythe account out of the transaction up until I requested my DNT be removed. However, if this still violates Sythe rules then I'll answer to whatever needs to happen once this dispute is settled.

I honestly don't believe RSGoldRush is scamming; however, the communication/customer service has been horrible. I'll lay out a timeline of our communication below. If G2A is just being slow with a refund then that's fine. I'm just requesting that RSGoldrush provide proof that they've at least requested the refund from G2A.

5 Mar- Ordered via RSGoldRush website using G2A. Once G2A verification finalized, I spoke with RSGoldRush staff via website chat. They stated that I was over their limit and would need admin approval. I waited a bit and the admin was not available so I stated I'd check back later. I checked back a few hours later and the admin was still not available so the representative said they'd initiated a refund. I said I'd check back "in a day or so" to request a status. They also mentioned that for a first time guest that this was way too high. I've had at least 3 orders with them previously.

7 Mar- I check back in with website to see if refund had been confirmed via G2A. Drew, who I assume to be an admin, started chatting with a semi-aggressive tone about how they've already told me things multiple times and that I visited the chat over 100 times. That was simply not true. I've been very cordial in every communication that I've had with them. The last time I visited the chat on 5 Mar I said I'd follow up in a day or so. This was the last communication on the website until 18 March.

18 Mar- I requested proof from the website that they had actually requested the refund from G2A. No response other than the chat operator stating they'd forward the request.

19 Mar- Same request of forwarding proof of the refund from G2A. They stated they will let the manager know.

19 Mar- I sent a PM to RSGold Rush on Sythe with a similar request of proof of them requesting the refund from G2A.

20 Mar- Response received on Sythe from RSGoldRush telling me to go on their live chat. I follow that advice and went to their chat again. I was told to wait a second and then kicked from the chat. The chat option no longer shows up when using my phone. However, if I use a different device then it appears again.

I understand that it could take G2A some time to process the refund. However, I have contacted them and they have not verified that the refund request has even been received. The communication between the myself and the seller is lacking. I simply want proof that that they've requested the refund from G2A.

Hey mate You wont get a reply out of rsgoldrush atm, But ill resolve this.

If you can send me the transaction id for G2a I'll check it/send another refund request ( as we cant refund it ourselves)

G2a Confirmed it.

 

I received an email this AM from G2A stating the order is now being refunded.

I appreciated @OFFICIALRSGOLDRUSH getting this resolved despite it taking 19 days and a Sythe report.

 

I offered an opportunity for @RSGoldRush to make right by @Trey after this situation. Trey requested that they donate 50m to the community repayment fund, which is extraordinarily generous of him to do. They have made this donation so I am removing the twc and considering this resolved
