Is it an offense if the original owner cannot recover a locked account?

I need assistance on this one please. I bought an account about 3-4 weeks ago on sythe from a reputable seller ($500 donor and 700 vouches). He says he is the original owner, but just recently the account was locked as Jagex suspects the account was stolen. The seller has been trying to unlock the account (2 times denied and 3rd one is pending) but Jagex does not believe the seller is the original owner... Almost 7 days now. Was I just scammed?

 

well they are responsible for at least a month so they would have to refund you most likely if the 3-4 week timeline is in fact correct

 

Hello, I had issues unlocking my rs3 main account that I'm the OO, i tried to recover 17 times without success, I had to get my jmod friend to help me out and they manually lifted the lock, I was locked due to my account being hijacked, if he truly is the OO link him up to my dms i can help him to e-mail jmods to manually lift the lock and they can also manually change the registered email if you guys have issues with it
