This is so we know that you didn't talk to an imposter, as this could have been a man in the middle scam.

Now, I understand that this is a stressful situation, but read a section about "Man in the Middle Scam" by Devil, while I finish watching your video.

PM is also related to a 1.2b gp @ 0.51/m trade, not RSN trading/transfering/MMing from Laziz' side, so the chat logs are different, but that's just something to check in the future, I guess.

I've request a second opinion from our expert @Gladiator, but it looks like a clear MITM scam to me.

The UID doesn't match Laziz because you didn't read the PM you received. The point of a PM is for you to verify that both the messages match those that were sent on Discord and the UIDs also match.

The video recording shows you were speaking to someone else and not Laziz.


Sorry for your loss, it seems you were impostor scammed @thecattermat . Please go through the following to better protect yourself:

1.) ALWAYS request a sythe PM before every trade and thoroughly read it to make sure you're talking to the correct person. A correct PM should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/hhosthY.png
2.) Discord Impostors almost always have nitro, which allows them to change their Discord Discrims (#) to copy legitimate users.
3.) Discord names and # can be copied but Discord UIDs can't be! Please always double check this. Go into Discord settings > turn developer mode ON, right click and copy ID. Explained here: Discord PM Template
