Auto typing cause I was trying to buy something and a Mod caught Me so can you get banned for it?

 

No, it will most likely leave you with a blackmark tho...

I've also heard that auto-typers are legal to rules as long as they're set to moderate rate.

Well sometimes they are illegal when you keep spamming the same sentence five lines in a row before someone writes something. So yes sometimes you can do it I would set the speed to like five if its short..if its a long sentence then 5-8

You can get banned for it, or at least muted, but it's not likely.

 

autotyping is always against the rules, it give u an unfair advantage over the other players( you dont have to type the words out)

I think you won't get banned for autotyping, unless you admit you're doing it.

 

You can't get banned. JaGex doesn't care about autotypers, it's pointless to report them. They don't have timestamps on the reports, to offically you could just be a great typer.

 

Since he said the mod caught him, I assume He did admit it.

Just autotype on a busy world...it seems like everyone does...in varrock.

 

Really depends on your rate speed of wpm that u made the typer do.

 

Maybe a blackmark, Jagex have better things to worry about than autotypers. They really don't care about them that much.

 

Times are a changing, since the demise of rwt and bots etc, anything that causes disruption to players gameplay is being looked at.
