How fast are RWT bans (selling/buying) nowadays?

What methods do you use? Proxies, no proxies, your personal accounts vs level 3s, etc?

 

I recently sold 7b off of one account. Although it is my main account and I've owned it on the same IP for over 10 years. I've traded well over 50b on the account and have yet to get a RWT.

 

I guess I'm just the unlucky SOB who got caught selling a relatively low amount.
I think a large part has to do with who you sell to, as well. You become a much larger target if you're selling to Asian-based gold sites / level 3's / high volume businesses.

I got a chain ban for selling 400M-500Mish no proxy on my personal account. Haha
Guess it just depends.

 

Traded over 5b OSRS in 2 weeks and zero bans.

 

Think it's Bogla tbh, seen you saying you got banned too by trading them on this thread. My 1.9k main got banned last December, about 6 hours after I traded them 300m. Believe it was a level 3 I traded aswell. No history of RWT, first offence.

Their rates aren't the great either but i suppose that's what makes them successful being trusted. Had I been aware of Sythe/rwt in general I might still have my main but that's the risk you always take. Do believe it's relatively safe to trade accounts that have some stats/quests done.

 

Dang man, hate to hear that. I know how it feels. But yep.. starting to see a trend I think. You and I aren't the only ones. Good to hear all of these responses. It really helps to clarify some of my concerns and the concerns of others.

 

It's pretty rare. For the amounts most people trade you should have no worries. It sounds like you're not going more than a few hundred mil at a time which is fine.

I've traded A LOT of gold over the years. I've had 2 bans which might sound like a lot but is pretty small among all the accounts. And both bans happend when I was egregiously trading bils at a time.

By the way, both bans happend at 8:30am UK time. Meaning, if you're going to trade a lot of gold, sell it during UK night time. That way, if you're going to be banned, Weath has to get into the office first and look at your account. So at least you save the gold but only lose the acc.

Again, you're probably fine. These things only really become an issue when your flipping and flopping 1-2b+ repeatedly. And even then, you're usually fine.
