Was looking around and couldn't really find an active tattoo thread from recent years.. So here goes.

P.s unwanted negativity towards anybody because of their tattoo is unacceptable. Please refrain from doing so.

 

No tattoos for me, but I once tricked my dad coming home for break with fake tattoo sleeves. He near lost it.

I don't think I can pull off ink. It takes a certain personality and look to look like a badass with them. Very few people can pull it off.

 

My parents gave me so much shit for them at first and grew into loving it. I do agree it takes a certain personality/look though.

 

I find women to be the most hit or miss with tattoos. Also depends on the quality of the tattoo, of course.

My exes dad was a big hulking motorcyclist that had some of the most badass ink I'd ever seen. It made me wish I had his personality and build to pull it off.

I do take an interest in them though, it is a great form of self-expression. Maybe if I ever got yoked I'd consider them lol. Honestly it's just kind of like anything in life, a hit or miss type deal. The badass ones look really badass ones and the bad ones look really bad.

What types of tattoos do you have?

Another thing is good tattoos are so expensive, so you have to be pretty good with your money or making good amounts to make it work as well.

 

Hell yeah its expensive. Its taken me months/years of saving (after bills/payments etc)

This is what I have so far.. definitely gonna be adding more though.

Mind a quick run-down of the meaning behind them? They seem to have a message/symbolism behind them. Those look really well done. That's exactly what I'm talking about, if you get them from a real artist tattoos can look pretty badass.

Hell yeah its a mini groot I got that cus of a really important person that plays a huge part of my life. She and I both have a little obsession with groot.

Back tattoo = british coat of arms, i'm a brit born but I moved countries. Huge pride in it

Ribs (2 koi) = tribute to my grandfather that passed in 2008. He loved the ocean and fishing. one koi is dark the other light/yin yang (can't really see it there but you can now cus its healed)

Owl = always been a fan of owls since I was a kid. Fascinated by their personalities as well as the way they interact with other species of animals

Ocean sleeve = grew up in Hong Kong, went out fishing every weekend with friends with my own little boat and we constantly talked about how amazing the ocean really is. Went scuba diving in Thailand with said friends because of it and was hit by the 2004 tsunami. <- I don't really like to talk about it much but its definitely scarred in my head forever.

I actually have a bunch of other ones; No face, A symbol for the music I love etc but I can't find pics of it right now and its dark so no pics hahaha.

Worth every dollar if you go to the right artist. People really gotta do their research before getting something such as a tattoo

 

Good on you brother I love them. I was going to say the coat of arms tattoo kind of looked like an extravagant crest you'd see a football club have or something of the like.

It's like an entire compilation of your life and a small peak into your personality. Very cool. That's what tattoos should be like + represent.

See for me, I believe you don't really need a "meaning/reason" for a tattoo, as long as you're not getting random dicks on you. (Friend got a devil with a long dick going down his leg lol.)

But, nevertheless, I got it half for a reason, half because I loved it in general.

1. Symbolic of growth really in general, however you take it.
2. It was a "milestone" for me when it came to weightloss. This was my 25 LB goal that I reached, and I deem the ribs to be very aesthetic if you are "slimmer", so yeah haha.

This dude is hands down the best artist I've ever met when it comes to personality and pricing. He really will hook you up with great ink and gives you deals. He's done 7/8 of my tattoos and I continue to get better prices; you honestly wouldn't believe me if I told you how much he charged me.

 

I've always had a desire for getting a musical note somewhere on my body. Then flex and mire my aesthetics in the mirror.

Fuck getting a tattoo elsewhere, we professional niggas out here.
