Banned, now what?

Hello everyone,

my main recently got banned on OSRS after a dumb choice of mine, I'm not very mad at myself as I knew I would be banned, but that is about all I will say. Anyways, I'm making this thread to see what I should do, should I make another account and continue the game legitimately like my (old)main did before I started to bot, or should I start a game mode like hcim and play through that? I plan to take a break for a while then get back into the game, so basically I'm just asking what is fun to do/play when I do get back into the game, all replies would be appreciated!

 

You got bannes for botting? I dont know if youll really be able to enjoy the game enough to play it legitimately. Maybe try making a hcim and make a low level pure at the same time? You can make a pure pretty easily and a lot of it is afk. Pking is fun.

 

I never said I didn't enjoy playing the game legitimately, I barely botted my main. But I might try a HCIM

 

Start over and bot less this time

 

Should I get a new IP before I make a new account?

 

Make a new account and start over legit from scratch.
Play the game to enjoy it, do what you enjoy.
Don't get the next one banned.

 

I personally don't find appeal in HCIM. Having so many layers of limitations just kind of kills things IMO - the most annoying result of them being not being able to buy GP should you end up wanting to.

I'd take a break and decide what I want to do. You may decide to start fresh on a normal char, start a pure, start an iron man or go all out and be HCIM. You may even decide to not start again.

 

I'd have to throw in, iron men are very nostalgic and fun to play on.

 

Yeah I already made a new normal account and went through the stronghold of security, but I'm gonna take a break before continuing to play.

 

Make 2 accounts. Bot one of em, while you play legit on the other.

 

If you can easily change the ip then there's no harm in changing your ip, but a different ip won't make that much of a difference.
