Based on what they have said so far, I understand the risk of buying on a site like this, but I wanted to share my experience. I bought from him before he was banned.

This customer chose not to purchase insurance. He is outside our free warranty. He has submitted no evidence that his account was recovered and even if he did he's outside the warranties. Please edit the title upon closure. He was expressly told by one of my agents that he was outside the terms and that we can't take action against a seller until substanial evidence is submitted to the point we can't be reported by the seller for scamming them their payment(must be at a minimum up to sythe standards).

 

You have access to the original email and recovery information, so I'm not sure how I'm meant to "submit evidence" the account was recovered. I don't have access to it. The claim of securing accounts through not providing me with the recovery details doesn't seem to do much, since the account is clearly not secured by you all.

How would you recommend me to provide evidence in this case? I've already spoken to the person who bought it on OSRS, so I don't think the original owner has it currently.

You don't have a case. Your outside our warranties and didn't buy insurance. We don't want you to submit evidence because you have no right to file a case. We would open a case if it was within our insurance coverage or within our standard warranty. You were cheap and didn't buy insurance. Also yes your support has been suspended because as sythe said, you have a right to choose to make a case through one mediator not two. You chose to use us originally and now you don't like us telling you that you don't have insurance, your trying to go through another mediator which is not okay. This is my last response. As you can see we explained everything clearly and professionally to you through the ticket and now I am just rehashing what the support agent already said. So yeah. Next time buy insurance is my advice. 83.7% of purchases include our insurance and it's there for a reason.

 

I get that, but why pay 25% more for insurance when the account is already "secured" I understand if you protect for a year, two, maybe even more, but that just seems like you buy accounts which you know are not safe to sell. Then when they get recovered you still make a profit even if you refund them since they bought your insurance. Probably even more for those that don't buy insurance. I would suggest advertising that more clearly on your website, since you claim you are merely a "middleman" which does not secure the account.

 

I will give you one more response out of respect of you being a ex-customer. One of my agents went out of his way on your behalf to track down your purchase in our accounting records, contact the seller on your behalf, and extensively explain things to you in a professional manner. We were not obligated to do any of that for you. We make things very clear in plain English precisely what policies apply to customers when buying or selling. We could of just closed your ticket and not responded once and got the same response that's going to go on this Sythe report once a staff looks at it which is "You agreed to their TOS and policies when purchasing", and totally ignored you. Instead our company gave you over half a dozen responses in detail explaining things to you so that your educated the next time you make a purchase whether that's with us, PA, AWH or any other company. You chose to try to get your money back through another mediator and tried to harm our business and I can flat tell you that it's not happening. We are never going to cave to any forums stances over our own expressly defined TOS, we are in the same boat as AWH, Sythe just doesn't carry enough traffic or weight anymore to bother with.

Anyway as I said previously, next time read what you agree to and buy insurance.

Your incorrect if you think we sell unsafe accounts, any staff at any time is welcome to join me on screen share or another software and look over our processes and exactly what sort of anti-fraud we run. I cant share it outside of staff because frankly this is our second report that isn't even valid in 10 months, 10 months, 2 reports. That is nothing in the accounts world. Our recovery rate is outstandingly low and we are brutal on fraud. So while I cant go into specifics, I can assure you that every account is extensively, and I mean extensively checked over.

Sure. I can appreciate that, but is that not the duty of your website if an account is recovered? I'm not talking about refunds, that was never on the table according to your support team, even though that was what I would like considering the account is now ruined. You could have closed the ticket, but that would not raise you to standards of the services you mentioned. I've never had an issue buying an account from AccountWarehouse and I've never received recovery details from them. How ever they secure their accounts, it works well. I did not choose to try to get my money back from another mediator, I'm simply sharing my experience using your site and warning others if this is your standard business practice.

I did read your TOS and even contacted the owner regarding the account, which I never received a response to regarding the security of the account. AWH does not charge for insurance, they have a lifetime warranty and yet I've had no issues buying from them.

I would say I am not incorrect as the only account I bought from you was recovered. I'd love to look over your processes as well, because it seems like once I mentioned it was recovered the only recourse was contacting the original owner and that I had to provide proof that the account was recovered. As I stated, for giving absolutely no recovery details the account doesn't seem to be all that secure. Especially if you can not recover it yourself. I don't see how you are brutal on fraud if you don't protect your customers, even if they don't purchase your insurance.

PS: What about this on your TOS?
-Any account that is recalled from you is attempted to get banned and the payment sent to the verified account seller is disputed and their acckings.com account removed from the site.

 

Due to ongoing issues and questionable business practices, a decision was made that this website is forbidden to be advertised on sythe. The owner of that website is already permanently banned from sythe. I am sorry you had a bad experience dealing with this user and his website but I can't say I am surprised at all. This will be considered a valid scam report against Bus/Divine/Pain/acckings.com
