MechScape - The future of RuneScape.

MechScape is a futuristic MMORPG, involving Real World Trading as a part of Jagex's profit. In other words: Jagex will be selling you items for the game. Some sources tell me it is RuneScape, in a futuristic version, rather then a mid evil game, which will also have several hundred vehicles to roam about the various servers in.

Jagex recently registered a trademark "MechScape", and also MechScape domain names. (Source - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagex)

Also, Jagex has admitted in an interview with BBC News, that RuneScape will only be their main focus for five more years. They plan on releasing a game where REAL WORLD TRADING is a part of their profits. (Source - http://news.bbc.co.uk/nolpda/ukfs_ne...00/7090490.stm)

For some reason reading this thread gave me an overwhelming desire to do a pixel...
Hopefully Mechscape will be not bad, something like Rs, but without the gayness... Maybe a 15+ game with violence and stuff, make a difference from the NewbScape we know today.

While I doubt Jagex will be investing millions into something that won't last.

yea i want the old runescape back to but its not gonna happen they are just gonna keep making these stupid updates that will loose them players and then finally runscape will be dead(max is 10 years left but im thinking only a few months left)
