After a month of going back and forth I went on vacation and gave him an extra week :

But yet again more bugs.

So I get another version of the script. After this I ask why this is taking so long to do when I gave you an extra week. An I get this response:

But im sick of waiting its been a month and 15 days now since he started this service. I know not all script will be perfect but these are bugs that wouldn't even allow the account to properly bank / run back to the destination / it would get stuck / it wouldn't hop worlds etc. When I hired him I did not think I would have to put work towards something im paying for ( such as testing the bot ) .

@Devil Was the MM for this he can confirm anything needed.

 

I can confirm I MM'd this trade and am still holding the money for whatever staff decides on this case. I'll add the group chat log in a video so they can scroll through it in a deleted post below for both parties privacy.

@TySimpson your asking if I want to give him an extra 3-4 days from today to finish his job? If thats what your implying then no . He has been rude to me for asking questions and now is a month and 15 days past due. Im done waiting on a finished product as I will never get one.

@Seattle bought a $100 script from me with @Devil as a middleman. I price checked Seattle's script for $125 (proof) however by my mistake I calculated the OSGP price for $100 script since that was what I price checked him in the first case (proof) but he never mentioned I calculated the wrong price (while he probably knew). I don't think admins can do anything about this and I will take this as my fault.


Seattle asked how long the script would take and I said probably 3-4 days (proof). The MM got paid at 2 December after 9PM my time, so that day isn't counted in my estimate (proof). First version of the script was sent on 6 december (proof). User tested the script on 8 december, 2 days after delivery of the script (proof). First report of a bug I received that day was this: bug report. On the same day of delivering the script to him, OSRS released an update where they added more worlds, meaning the alignment of the worlds in the world hopper in the login screen changed, which caused an issue with it hopping to the wrong worlds (proof). A new version was sent a couple hours after (proof). I didn't know what was wrong and since I had no time I just sent him a new version which might've fixed the issue so he could continue botting.

After that version I received another bug report saying it had trouble going through the port (which is caused by OSBot webwealker which has been unstable in some moments) and script didn't do anything when there was another person attacking the dragon, detection radius was 5 tiles which was too small (proof). I sent him a new version the next day since I was asleep and at school. User then took 4 days to test the script (proof). After he ran the script he found a new issue which was it not picking up loot, reason for this was that because of safety reasons (a dragon being to close to loot) it wouldn't pick it up (proof). Another bug was the worlds changing every 2 weeks and it trying to hop to a PVP world, which I didn't take account of and didn't notice when testing because the testing didn't take 2 weeks (proof). I explained every bug to him and what was the cause of it but he still felt like it contains so many bugs (proof). I offered him to test the script for a couple hours (last screenshot) but he didn't respond to it. He claimed I didn't offer it and when I quoted myself and instead of saying, sure you can or saying sorry I was right, he ended up blaming my bugs for no reason (proof). User said it was 2 weeks and still took too long, which is a valid point but is definitely not only my cause. As seen in the last screenshot I told him on 17 December the test account didn't have members anymore but I needed to fix the bug he was talking about. He clearly read the message since he responded to it (proof). It took him until 27 December (10 days) before he put members on it (proof). To note, my ToS states the buyer is responsible for the test account(s) (It has been changed recently but I think mods can see older versions of the thread. He found another bug where the bot detected a PKer while getting already attacked by spiders when walking back to the bank and told me “Test the script before sending it please” when I didn’t even send a new version but used the one where he talked about a specific bug. Chances of this happening was not that big however I should've added a failsafe for this but forgot. He then went on vacation and I took time to run the script to make sure it doesn't contain any more bugs while he's away (I did over 50 kills bug free iirc). He went on vacation on 28 December. He came back on 5 January and was away myself so I could only send the script 2 days later (proof). 5 days later he ran the script and responded with some vague bug report (which he mostly did). I had no clue what he meant and just sent a new version which could fix the "issue" (It wasn't really an issue afaik) (proof). He then came back with a vague bug report and I had no clue what he meant. To get more of an understanding what was happening and what could be the issue (It could also mean he failed in starting the script up correctly since you needed command prompt to bypass OSBot auto login) but instead of answering my questions to solve the issue he went on and with his non sense questions (proof & proof). He then refused to try and fix the vague issue he had and decided to inform the middleman he demanded a refund.

I have done him a big favor by writing a login screen world hopper instead of using the in-game world hopper. This is not natively supported in any bot and uses code which can break after an update. The reason behind that is in-game world hopping can still end up in you being killed since it takes a couple ticks before you can hop again. Logging out, hopping to a different world and logging back in is a big advantage. I have explained that to him (proof). I could've switched easily to the in-game world hopper (since that's what his request contained in the first place) to make my life easier (and have less bugs) but that would lead to a less usable script.

The user has been acting the same way all the deal, saying the script took way too long (which is not only my fault if it takes 10 days for him to put members on a account, which can be done in 10 min), blaming his faults on my bugs etc. Devil has been part of our conversation and he can "testify" what Seattle's behavior in this service was.
