Biggest updates in the last 5 years

Opinions? Seperated into three sections, what are the biggest RS3 updates in your opinion over the last 5 years? Gears, monsters, mechanics, etc.

Combat (pvm)
Skilling
Combat (pvp)

 

For PvP, it was probably how they made it so you can't spec tab and you can keep on attacking people even inside the safe zone. One of the most retarded pvp update.

 

I heard about this happening on OSRS - is this also an RS3 update?

I think that's a good update, the 10 HP rushers have a chance to die now, I find rushing very annoying in this game and would love
every rusher to slowly become more inconvenienced.

 

I think only 07. Basically damaged* pking if you're an actual pker.

 

Well, realistically, I never like to "Spec and tele" because I find that just to be very sad... unless you're out of food and it's your last
hope to kill someone but I think they installed a timer so you can't get pj'd before you can tele after you spec.

There are rare cases of actual pking this update would effect, but I see where you're coming from.

BTW I posted this in RS3 section, looking to get some insight on what people think are the most important RS3 updates.

 

I don't spec tele. I don't like it because it was part of how people pk. Was a good pk mechanic.

 

It's a good mechanic if you want to be a bad player killer and rely on your spec weapon to get you the kill or else you have to teleport
and run away. Personally myself, I don't like accounts that you're forced to do this on & I find it a very cowardly mechanic & I am
personally very glad Jagex removed this from being an instant teleport after you spec.

I do agree there are legit times where you spec and tele, such as if a clan is present and you want to try to down one of them before
quickly teleporting, or if you're out of food and try to spec-tele to kill your opponent, etc.

Just my opinion though
