Donation Ranks

So I've been on this site for a little over a month now and one big thing I've noticed that attracts business is your donation rank. Whether it'd be 5$ or $500. I recently made enough off sythe to current donate for the $100 rank.

My plan for this would be to attract sales/business as I currently run a max main rental service as well as a gold selling service that I recently got into.

I'm really excited to finally get my foot in the door to being successful on sythe and I think this is a great first step. What are your thoughts/goals on sythe?

 

I've been on Sythe for a month, I Just donate everything I have earnt, No need for Irl cash right now and this website will prob do more good with it than I ever would. I don't think the Donation Rank is everything, Vouch's say a lot.

I don't really know what my goal is But doing services makes me feel more useful on here then I do real life. If I did want to earn money on here then I will defo look into goal selling. But Glad to hear you are doing well, And I hope u become as successful at what you do.

 

My opinion on this is that I for sure think that having a donation rank makes yourself seem more pleasant to deal with. People think that a donation rank means you have invested money into the site, enough for which you probably won't scam and are enjoying your time in the community and that things are all good. I also think it only makes a difference for newer users. If I see someone with 10,000 posts and 700 vouches I will not care about their donation rank even if it is $500.

 

Agreed, Time on sythe, vouches,posts,donation, they all factor in to making a trusted user.

 

So many factors come into deciding whether someone is legit or not. For me the main thing is vouches then donation honestly and having one and not the other is actually a meh you just gotta have them both in my opinion.

 

agreed, however I would place vouches and posts above donations for trust. There are in-fact many very trusted people who have not donated.
