I have obtained permission from Charlotte to post this. I'm confident that this information matches up with that of the scammer. I am also aware of the consequences if this information is invalid, and I accept full responsibility.

Explanation of the trade: This user is attempting to impersonate me and scam others through his discord ID: "RoIex#0923". My discord ID is "Rolex#0923", however, since a lowercase 'L' and capital 'i" appear identical, it is very convincing. This user has been messaging others throughout the forum, most notably in the RS3 Gold section. I've received numerous pm's asking for confirmation, in which I reply back as promptly as I am able to, warning the user that they are speaking with an impostor.

How they scammed: bo_burnham impersonated me and convinced another sythe member to send him $130 PayPal in exchange for 1b RS3. Once the victim sent the money, he blocked him on discord. At this moment, the victim searched for the correct discord ID and contacted me, where I have been attempting to help him recover his funds.

Mike, if you're reading this, all I ask is that you refund the $130 you scammed for and I will take down this thread.
If you don't want to take up my offer, I have no problem with posting this publicly on every forum I am a part of and taking further steps to shame you as a scammer.

 

Doxing anyone like this scammer or not is not allowed.

To clarify, you may post info about a scammer that would assist in helping prevent further scams by them so things like emails, rsns, skypes/discords, and potentially their first/last name. Pictures, family names, and other info is not allowed to be posted
