This exact username (as seen in the below screenies) added me to discord to buy some OSRS gp from me, which is absolutely standard and with his reputation I would have undoubtedly gone first. Issue is, the user on the discord refuses to pm me. Now, either i'm mega dumb, he's hacked or this is one extremely good impostor.

He clearly states on the post he sent me on discord that I was to request a PM?

Hey, There's a discord bug where Users can mimic other users with different letters of another language but the output looks like the English version. Seems like an imposter. Always request a PM to make sure it's him.

Edit: Might want to change the title of this thread as this isn't a scam report.

 

Thanks @Pageth - I wasn't aware of this. I had no doubt he was either a) hacked, or b) this was a very good imposter. At least this post will make him aware and extra vigilant.

 

Yes, it is an imposter.

I had the exact same user try to imposter scam me also.

He uses an I instead of an L, in which, Pageth has already mentioned. It looks exactly the same.

I PM'd Oblivion about this and the unique discord ID is completely different.
Fortunately, Oblivion responded saying it wasn't him I was speaking to on discord.

The user tried telling me "He couldn't reply to my PM because my inbox was full".
