Hacked

Okay so recently I've been getting back into OSRS, and I haven't been on in like years. I've recently gotten back onto Sythe without trouble, but I checked the site today to see that I was banned. I saw the ban report and it looks very suspicious (As in he himself could possibly be reenacting the scam itself to get me to pay him after the ban), but regardless I have no access to the logs or my profile so I am unable to investigate any further. I see that he is currently banned for whatever reason, so If anyone could shed some light on that I would greatly appreciate it. It is my fault for being irresponsible with my account and having it vulnerable to being hacked, which is extremely unfortunate. I can assure you that this person isn't me and could prove it if necessary, but I appreciate @Wortel for his insight. Please let me know the next steps I must follow in order to get my account unbanned.

 

Hello @Mandingo this is @Wortel's secretary. As you mentioned, you are responsible for your account security, the user was scammed for 200M 07 which is approximately $130.

First thing you will need to do is secure your account here: Account Recovery & Creation

Once that is complete, you can request a pardon here (You are responsible for the 200M 07): Request a Pardon
