Heavy gambling addiction

Hey guys,

Ive been gambling on footbak mathes now for 1 month, started very good i won more theh i lost, then after a while i just got addicted

I went from +1200 to -3700 in 1 week time and i just keep thinking about its eating me and i legit just realized how addicted i am after friends confronted e but i just keep wanting to keep betting and i honestly dint know what to do, i'm not even 18 yet and im fucking my life up

 

Honestly you probably won't learn until you've completely ran out of money. You know what you're doing is wrong so just stop betting bro. Having a gambling addiction will only get worse for you so just stop while you can. Nothing good comes out of it.

 

You're not "fucking your life up" by losing a few grand, trust me. Your life has only just begun. Take this as a valuable lesson and reassess the value of your assets and the risk you're taking with them. You have plenty of time man.

 

welp, i cant pull out considering im -3900 as a 17 year old, i won 400 euro back yesterday so only 3500 but im not sure what i should strategize doing small stakes or big ones till im out of debt

Did you borrow the money you gambled with? If not, you're not in debt.

Consider other avenues of income. Also consider the money you lost as no longer yours. It's not yours to "make back", it's entertainment that you purchased at a high cost. Make it back legitimately and learn from your past.

Misleading yourself into believing that what you lost is something you are still entitled to is one of the biggest mistakes addicts face.

 

Yep, was my own money yesterday i made 700 eiro back though and im gonna try riding this flow and as soon im less in - stop and just permanent quit, i really cant keep my mindset with like yeh i lost 3900 i should accept my loses

Go invest/trade in Cryptocurrencys instead of gambling. Do your own research and have patience and it will give alot better odds then dumb gambling.

 

Getting involved with crypto is an easy way for a gambler to lose all their money. Once it just becomes digits on a screen, its easy to deposit into primedice or invest into something stupid. Trust me, i've been there.

As to you @ipker10 i've been there before. Getting up to 4k+ at 17 is not a bad feat. Try not to feel remorse for what has happened, its that same mentality that got you to that point anyways. At this age you can afford to take risks and pick yourself up again, its not a big deal. I've been there before. Invest in tangible goods imo. Buy yourself a car, or spend it on hobbies / schooling, you'll appreciate money much more once you do.

Once your money is in crypto, consider it gone imo. Consider it money lost, as honestly anything could happen, so just be prepared. I would just focus on schooling or whatever you're doing now. Trading is very draining, and you find yourself unsociable and irritated at times when the markets are bad (50% of the time statistically), and your 17yr old peers wont understand what you do and why you do it, so they'll probably make fun of you tbh (maybe because of jealousy if it goes well)

 

Ive had alot of people call me out for having miney like they say ' criminal' or ' fake brands' it's funny, im ust gonna do whag i do without staking ;P and gambling

 

you would be surprised, lots of teens hide success to fit in at school lol. No one likes a show off i guess.
