How they scammed: Trying to make people think their odds are 55/100, infact they are 35/80

Pretty carnival-ish logic, props to him for posting it - but I do believe its an attempt to trick / scam.

In his title he says 55 and under your win -- making you think that you actually have 55% odds.

His rules state

-Roll 20 dice of 5

Now the lowest you can get on one roll out of 5 is a 1, not a 0

Therefore the range of numbers you can get is 20 at the lowest and 100 at the highest (hence your odds being 35 / 80). Most people don't understand that.... thats why I think this thread should be closed. As it is put next to other threads in which the range is actually 1-100 (hence him trying to trick people - specially with his thread title)

Not saying you are scamming per se, just saying I don't think your thread should be allowed and want to leave it open to a scam attempt. You are intentionally trying to mislead people by using largely unknown feature the dice rolls that you cant roll a 0

 

So whys in REPORT A SCAMMER and you didnt just report the post? W/e all good, theres no rule against this, but if a mod says its against rules then just take my post down and i wont do anymore

 

Just to preface this. There are instances where intentionally misleading people is against the rules, sometimes it isn't.

After looking into this, it's not a scam. He's offering a donator game that just happens to have horrible odds. It is up to the bettor to decide if he wants to play or not.

He states 1-55, which does not say 55x2. Therefore, this is fine.
