Need some ideas

Over the past 2 weeks we've been working on landscape in our yard.

We have an old bushs tump that I'm trying tog et out.

I wear i spend 2 hours digging around the thing and trying to pry it out.

It will not budge an inch.

Any ideas to get it out?

Use a chainsaw.

Then chop the branches until they are smaller pieces.

Then use the chainsaw again and rip the entire thing off.

Then dig up the roots.

 

Burn it down...lol jk mabey just keep digging and you will eventually get it

 

Use a backhoe, that'd do the job.. otherwise, just severe the roots if possible, it won't grow back then. If you have any more questions, talk to me on MSN, I know a bit about landscape and stuff, competing at the National level at the end of the month. (FFA)

EDIT: A chain and pickup/tractor would also give you satisfactory results if done properly.

 

I've already got all the bush part, theres no green to it

It was there for around 25 years so the roots are like DEEP

I've tried cutting them and everything

ok, but seriously, fire WILL kill it. You can also try maybe getting some big drill or something, like a landscape tool. Im sure there is one. You can try to pull it out with a truck as well. Borrow one if u dont have one.

 

Might be kinda hard to get a truck in my back yard =/

And I'm a little skeptical about lighting it on fire because its 10 inches from my house.

 

Keep digging XD.

ok enough with the bad stuff, just keep digging until you cut all the bloody stupid roots lol gl

 

Well, fire might actually work...Just keep it on the side that is away from your house, if it gets out of controll, poor water on it.

 

I'm about to go out again and kill the stupid thing =)
