Staking

Well, I have been working on my staking account awhile now, and I really want to start making some cash now

His stats:

CB: 60
60 atck
38 str
60 def
56 hps
1 pray
32 range
37 mage


And my finances are 7 mil (6 m after I buy member).

I'm sure all the replies would say get 70 atck and def, but I don't know if I can afford barrows. I have never had a member account, but I know a lot about the game. Just not very familiar with prices.

When I make him member first thing I'm going to do is Lost City, so I can get DDS and Longsword. Then I was going to try to maybe do Fremennik Trials. (And yes i have the required skills for the quests)

I was thinking about doing armor off fights, with DDS spec and Dlong (but with my strength my hits are going to be pretty low), so I don't have to buy a whole bunch of expensive armor. I don't want to go ahead and get all these things because if he doesn't work out I don't want to lose all my money.

So basically, I'm asking what stuff I should buy and/or if I should raise any skills for other items and what quests need/can be done. Any suggestions?

You can find the price of barrows there.
Get veracs(Currently on 3,550,000gp - 3,650,000gp) and you will win majority of your stakes.
So yes get 70 attack and defence.

 

Just max out every combat stat and be prayerless, that's what I'm doing. Stake people your level and they probably have a lot less combat levels than you because of their prayer.

 

6mil will buy you some pretty good armor. Don't dds stake with your stats. You have a good staking account, but not for that. Yes, get 70 attack and def.
Options:
The easiest: box. Fight no armor, no weapon. Your attack and def will own.

Armor on: Veracs is good. It ignores your opponent's armor bonuses much of the time. It costs like 3.6m and falling.

Or try full Torags without the hammers. It offers better def bonuses and is about a third of the price of veracs. Use a whip as your weapon and an obby/crystal/d square shield.

 

Get 70 atk and 70 def.

 

Yeah but don't you have to repair barrows stuff? How much do repairing the stuff cost? And how fast does it break?


Should i get 70 atck and def in f2p? Or should I do like PC or something in members? And how much shorter would it take in members?

Im pretty sure it degrades unbeleivably slow and the cost isnt that much to repair

 

70 atk low str 70 def if you dont want to do that or cant afford it i suggest stay 60 atk 60 def and get 80+ str keep 1 pray
