I've been wondering something...

One of my accounts got perm. banned, and perm. muted. That got me thinking, what is the point of Jagex muting someone AND permanently banning them? Cuz if your banned, it doesn't really matter if you cant talk.

Maybe you got muted b4 u got banned. Like one day they muted u then the next they banned. Or u could of done so many things at once that the mute was for one thing then the bann was for another.

 

You would have been Banned and Muted for Two seperate Reasons, Most probably At two different times. When the proof was sent to jagex of you auto typing etc If it's good evidence then they would just selected "action aproved". The perm mute and perm ban is done automaticaly, like from the amount of times youv'e done it, or the seriousness of the offense. Catch my drift?

Also, Mute would have been before Ban

 

I think perm banned is appealable?So if you get unbanned then your muted .

 

Yeah this seems like the best way to put it into words. So bassically if you weren't muted and the next day you get on and you perm. muted and perm. banned that must mean they got the mute request first, they perm. muted you, then they got the one for the ban and they perm. banned you.

 

oh yea i hadn't thought about that, but still...its kinda stupid

 

Because, if you get unbanned from a last-chance appeal, you sometimes remain permanently muted also.
