Finally after talking and talking about compatibility..

i had a friend teach me about how shit works.

So I bought this:
XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX / 256MB DDR3 / SLI Ready / PCI Express / DL Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card

Also payed for 2 day shipping lmao i didnt wanna wait.

So I took out my old shit 7300 le card and put this in




And dont ask why I didnt buy the 8800 (simply because im not rich and no point I can see in buying it)

Alright so far ive played:
Bioshock - FULL MAX SETTINGS (runs PERFECT! Also have vista installed to see what its like in DX10)
Call of Duty 2 - Full max settings. Runs well
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter - Runs perfect. Looks beautiful in full graphics
DiRT - Amazing game. Full GFX
Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas - Full graphics

So yea enuf bragging.

EDIT: oh yea and I have another 19inch screen coming soon so I can dual monitor using "nView" Msn and internet on 19inch. Bioshock on 20inch

I thought the only DX10 graphics card was the 8800 ...

Doood I bet you could play runescape on high settings on that thing... J/K with you man. Whats the rest of the specs on that rig? Im running c2d and 7600 atm. I need teh graphix upgr4de
