Volta Hacker scammed me

Explanation of the trade: @Volta's Skype was hacked and the hacker messaged me to buy some gold that I was selling.
How they scammed: I trusted Volta because I sold him stuff before in the past and he's a $300 donor. Hacker took the money and never sent BTC. When Volta secured his Skype back he said that he'd was hacked and that he couldn't do anything. I decided not to report him because he wasn't the one that did it and honestly I kinda forgot about it. After some time passed I decided that it would probably be a good idea to report this.

Wait... So I'm DNT'd because someone hacked my Skype and scammed him? That's a little unreasonable. I reported my Skype being compromised to @Shin right when it happened and I thought the problem was solved after changing the linked email and the password to one I've never used before but it still happened. I've taken the steps to ensure that it wouldn't happen again, but I really don't think it's fair of me to have to pay him back or anything really since I tried my best to avoid it (you can even see my username in that Skype saying not to trust that Skype).

Not hard to fake a hack and scam? You're responsible for the security of your Skype 100%.

From now on, having your Skype username in any of the following places will link it to your Sythe account, leaving you liable for anything that happens on it:
- On your profile
- In your signature
- Market thread OP's
- Same day posts/PMs

His skype was not listed in any of these places on May 23rd so this is not a valid report

Would he have to repay $100 worth of Bitcoin back then or just $100 worth of Bitcoin today?

 

Seems to be $96 not $100, but the price would be in BTC today I'd imagine as that's the most reasonable way to settle payment, however I'll let Champ / Video decide that whenever they get time to look at this.

 

@Volta I'd imagine you'd at least like to reply as to why that is prior to them looking at it rather than viewing it several times, and not saying a word, or?

 

I’m not sure what it is you’re asking of me because I can’t see that thread and i’m not sure why I would’ve edited it on June 4th.

I’ve already made everything clear regarding this case before and there isn’t anything for me to add.
