keep getting kicked

from #sythe why is that?
note this is my first time going on #sythe

 

What's the message you get when you get kicked?

It can be a number of things.

> The ops don't like you.
> You have a crap connection.
> and a number of other things.

Get the error message you get when you get kicked and post it here or in the IRC section, like r33l suggested.

 

The reason that you could be getting "kicked" is probably because #sythe isn't the actual sythe IRC. #sythe doesn't exist.

If you want to get onto the real IRC, type in #sythe first, it should bring you to a page that should say "This channel doesn't exist". Then, type in:

/server irc.sythe.org

This will re-locate you to the correct IRC which you want to be in. Hope I could help..

 

Tried that, [12:30] *** darkidi was kicked from #sythe by ChanServ [Channel forbidden: Inappropriate channel.]

Allright as it stands, you are trying to go to #sythe via SwiftKit IRC. This client automatically signs into IRC.SwiftIRC.net. To get onto #sythe, you need to have a IRC client capable of doing a /server IRC.sythe.org, or /s irc.sythe.org. Once you have done this, you should join #sythe.

I suggest using Chatzilla, it's IRC inside of Firefox and I find it very nice, and easy.
