2FA issue

I just switched to a new phone, and I'm trying to transfer my Sythe two-factor authentication over. After I scanned the barcode in my Authenticator app (Android) and entered the six-digit code correctly, I was sent back to the two factor landing page, which told me "Your account is NOT currently protected by two factor authentication" and gave no indication I'd completed the 2FA enrollment process. I attempted this several times and had the same outcome each attempt. Is this a known issue?

Any idea what I can do to fix this? I'd like to re-enroll in 2FA as quickly as possible. Thanks!

 

Which browser are you attempting this on?

Have you tried resetting your 2fa and re-enabling it?

 

Just simply disable it, and re-enable making sure to write down the recovery code and keep it somewhere safe.

 

Try to remove it altogether and reenable it. In the future, if your app supports it, you can save the TFA barcode and restore it on another device. One such app for iOS is OTPAuth.

 

Use DuoMobile: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duosecurity.duomobile and make sure your phone's time setting is on "sychronise automatically" rather than manually set.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't work in DuoMobile, either. My phone's clock is synchronizing automatically.

Chrome. Yes - I'm experiencing the issue described in the initial post while attempting to enable 2FA after having disabled it.

Do you have these specific apps?

Google Authenticator

They should be the first apps to pop up in the play store if you have an android. You should try the process on Mozilla firefox as well.
