Instantly banned?

So I bought an account off sythe from a very reputable seller. I never logged on to it or accessed it from my regular IP but used a remote desktop VPS. I logged on and had a small amount of gold traded on to the account(30-50m). Then two days later I go to the duel arena and do 1 Small stake against my other account(no ip or hardware connection) to transfer some gold from that account and am instantly banned literally 30 seconds later on the new account(the remote desktop one). My regular account is still not banned but can I expect it will be investigated and banned? Thing is jagex always says they won ban buyers they will ban the sellers, but in this case they instant banned what appeared to be a gold buyer

Submit an appeal, if you aren't able to try getting in contact with Jagex through social media.

Jagex doesn't share details about the inner workings of their security system so it's impossible for us to know how or why you were detected and banned.

 

Unfortunate but as long as you logged in successfully I think it’s not under their policy to refund unfortunately. I would still make a report

Normally sellers of account are willing to negotiate a little when the account is literally banned hours after you buying it. You can also make a scam report and have a mod look at it.
