I believe there is. I believe after death we are all either sent to hell or heaven. Why ? Because my religion says so.

I think when we die we all just get put into a big rubbish bin in space and float to another universe where there's another Earth there with no population and the rubbish bin flies into the atmosphere burning up and releasing us into the the open sea where we all find a big piece of the bin still intact and float to a undiscovered island and begin building a civilization as new people with clean/fresh memories and brains with no recollection of the life we once lived before dying. We then begin to breed and create the new and improved human race on the new Earth now known as "This Is Actually A Pretty Good Plot For A New Movie" and that was that.

No but seriously, I just think we die and nothing happens. Maybe the light we see before we die is really the birthing process of a newborn and we're actually that newborn and start life all over again? Holy shit, that actually might be the case. Maybe we die, and restart life again as another baby with no memories of our previous life. And it's just a cycle every time we die. Maybe my Grandma is the new baby that was born a few years back which lives like 7 houses down from me but she doesn't realize that because she's a baby again?

I don't believe in life after death, though it'd be a nice thought. I guess we'll see when we get there.

 

I think its comforting for many to believe that there is an afterlife, but unfortunately I believe what I regard as most likely: when we pass, we return to what it was like before we were born - nothingness. I simultaneously do also believe (agnostically) in some kind of universal 'higher power', not a Christian God per se but perhaps a force at the least which links certain events together.

 

First of all you need to know that there is no one alive. There is no seperate entity alive. There is just god/consciousness/awareness. We are pure consciousness in form and with a unique expression. You will die, and you will reincarnate back to earth because you'r "mission" is not over. You are an individual expression of consciousness that tries to free itself of the illusary of a seperate entity. You will keep reincarnating till you reach "enlightenment". We don't really know what will happen after that because when we reincarned our mind's get wiped out, but are true "soul" keeps going on. Till it is set free!

 

There are no seperate events. There is just one moment that keeps going till ethernal. everything happens. But nothing is linked, because all is one and if something should be linked then there should be 2 things and not 1 thing. And what is that 1 thing? That one thing is you! Consciousness, the one who is aware of your screen atm, not the person. cause a person is just a collection of memories.

 

I really do and thats only because I feel like god is real. I truly believe someone has been watching over me throughout my life so far. I have gotten through some pretty tough situations and I feel like it was god who helped me through them. Weird feeling but I definitely believe in life after death.

 

Something really interesting is a substance called DMT that is released when someone is born and when they die. Otherwise it never is released by the human body.

edit: DMT is also used as a hallucinative drug like LSD, so what might happen is when you die you live on in your "dream world"

 

DMT fucks up your energetic body. I won't use it if you want to be keep fresh n healthy. Cool experience none the less, but the same experience is able to achieve without DMT

I believe there's something, I don't know what, and I won't worry/think about it much. Why? Because it's common for humans to be unable to fathom just being gone after death and that's the end of them.

I kind of want to say there is but we currently don't know enough on the topic in order to confirm such statement. However, I believe scientist have discovered that there may be signs of consciousness after death. It would be nice to think that this said consciousness could be the first step of reincarnation.

But when you think of it, if scientists have discovered signs of consciousness after death, this basically proves some sort of life after death? That kind of stuff cease to amaze me and I can't wait until we find more on the topic.
