[DENIED] Enforcing boosting rules

This has been on my mind for a while, why do we require pictures/verification of boosting services for League of Legends] and Overwatch but we do not require this for Rocket League and CS:GO. The only thing we wrote down in the CS:GO Service Rules is that we'd prefer them posting a picture of their rank, though it doesn't sound like a requirement. While we're at it, neither do we require it for Dota 2. Those games are in the top 10 most-played-games on Steam and I really think that even though we've never had issues with it yet, we treat all those stickies equally and request the same for all games.

This would also mean adding new miniranks (verified booster, verifier etc).

What do you think?

 

Thought the same thing for a long time. I think the reason why it is like this right now is because the boosting verifying stuff is quite dead as far as I know. Like it never happends and is a mess. So either remove all the verifiers or require verifiers in all sections where boosting is offered.

 

I think the verified ranks would be pretty sick!

 

Going to second what @Buyacc said. I think these sections should absolutely post proof of what they are selling, but the verification mini-rank seems to have phased out. I know Gen still keeps track of the league section, but most people just post their account without even reading it.

 

Support, there should be strong parallels within games that offer similar services, even if the market is not as active/has had less problems.

This simple implementation can even prevent a future-problem and just sets a sense of standard for sellers across Sythe.

I've been thinking about this for awhile as well. Although it seems like the only section that actually gets a bunch of requests for verification is league (I get a few every week) I believe adding a verification process to those without would do no harm.

I've been trying to get this for a while, after being told no because Dota 2 wasn't an active game, I kind of gave up bc staff wouldn't even give it a quick google.

Edit:

Yes support please, there's no verifiers for Overwatch, they just have the minirank to look cool when they don't do anything and there's plenty of people who will.

Also Dota deserves some respec.

EDIT: Those sections have since became very quiet and we won't be verifying said games in addition to League/Dota
