Anyway, attempting to buy this account from this guy and he thinks he can just keep the 75M I traded to him because he found out he's dealing with me, and he "knows what im up to" not sure what that means seeing how Im purchasing something for money, not sure what I could be up to lol.

Claims he has Pm'd mods about the situation but I doubt that.

Anyway, I know I wont get the 75M back but the beautiful mods here need to enlighten him that stealing is still not allowed, no matter who you're dealing with.

Moontrucks can give it to my "Victims" even though there isn't any since 2013 legitimately lol..

But I can't wait to see the outcome, lets watch the staff allow someone to steal from someone just because of who they are.

Anyway this is the second guy claiming he has recovered accounts, man I didn't even do my homework, I must be getting old, he also deleted the Skype verification posts I requested (Other thread has those screenshots)

And his vouch thread, shows more accusations of him recovering accounts.
He most likely purchased the sythe account with the old creation date as he heavily boasts on that to obtain trust from users.

I'm not ignoring anything. Since this issue was raised at gone midnight for me last night I chose to sleep rather than argue over the internet.

Anyhow, suppose we'll start at the beginning. Trying to sell a pure at the moment, he contacts me on an account called 'Beared Oaf', we exchange messages and are moments away from swapping Skype's and setting up a trade until he gets banned from Sythe mid-fucking-messages. I find out why, realise who he is and I rescind my Skype contact request and cease contact. He then sends me a contact request on Skype which I accept the morning after.

It's claimed that he's still up to his old tricks, see this thread and notice the craigslist ad which is in a largely similar vein to what he did in his heyday and also see the ripoff report submitted by someone on him a whopping 8 days ago.

Trent Thomas is still scamming GP.

So I'm sat here thinking that this guy is clearly still a piece of shit and now he's trying to do me. So I entertain his offer which was that he pays me 75M for the login details and nothing else, he then pays another 75m five days later at which point he'll receive all the information. That's an odd request I thought - the first I've received on Sythe infact. You only have to read through this thread to know he's experienced in scamming accounts. His justification for such an offer is that most account recoveries happen within the first few days. That doesn't make a blind bit of difference because if you were intending to scam someone, you'd just wait until you were in receipt of the second half of the money at the expense of a few days and literally DOUBLE your money. My theory, one that will be refuted by him is that he never intended to pay the second half of the fee, but rather, attempt to sell my account for quick profit himself leaving me in a mess of a situation.

After it was all said and done I PM'd Meteor explaining what I had done while also stating that the gold will stay on the mule account it was traded to until this is resolved. I PM'd Meteor a whole 20 minutes before this thread was even posted. If it were my intention to just take 75m off this guy and run off into the horizon, why would I have done that?

He's since become quite animated on Skype and made a number of conflicting claims, when I questioned him about repaying his victims and getting back on Sythe legit, he claimed that he doesn't have anything to give and that I'm a dumbass for thinking as much. He then went on to say that he has 35b(33 of which are just in tokens!) and regular dealings with all the major gold companies.

So he's still selling/buying gold on craigslist, then he doesn't have anything to repay, then suddenly he has all the money in the world. Either he's still scamming and I was about to fall foul of it, or he's still lying to suit his own agenda. I reckon it's a bit of both.

When we spoke about repaying one of his victims with the money he stated that Moontrucks will make me give the money to him in order to "repay my victims" - literally, he said it in quotation marks and then went on to state he hasn't had any victims since 2013 so I'm not entirely confident this is a thing that could be pursued.

The money is sat on a mule account at the moment, haven't touched it and I won't. I propose that Trent can either pay for the account in full with his apparent massive gold stores and then truly no one loses, or, as Meteor proposed it can go towards this thread and be given to someone that has genuinely been scammed. Everyone loses and we get on with our lives, I've already articulated to Trent that I likely can't recover the account I'm selling.

I find this all a bit odd to be honest, Trent was quick enough to start name dropping Sythe moderators of who he was going to run to resolve this. Is it not weird that he's even given the time of day? I'm aware that he's banned whenever his new account is found out, but even by going through this process it is literally facilitating Trent to continue using this place as his stomping grounds for inflicting misery to people, something which he's done for fucking YEARS.

As for Liam, I've PM'd him but he's yet to respond. I sold him an account going on three years ago and he then sold the account to someone in a less than reputable clan who were balls deep in shady stuff such as DDOSing etc. AFAIK the account was either shared and sold around until it was inevitably lost, regardless, I don't have it. The post on my vouch thread is one of the idiots he sold it to(I think, well it must be, I've never personally had dealings with that user, he popped up out of the blue accusing me of scamming). There's a reason I have 200 and odd posts here in a nine year span and it's because this place is infested with fucking morons, people charging you back and trying to fuck you at every turn. People are all to quick to point the blame but don't even have the presence of mind to step back and look at how they've potentially added to the situation.

And although Trent is clutching at straws, I'll still entertain him: my Sythe account is also my own and always has been, something which can be easily confirmed by staff here.

Here is just 3, and no offense, if 3-4 people are calling him out, he's a rip off artist...

I like to call these types, time scammers, basically they sell an account, let someone get into for a while well past the point of sale, then recover, most likely re-selling on another forum to not appear as he is recovering and re-selling here.

Ban this idiot and let him keep the 75M he stole from me lol...

False. There are currently 3 accounts that I've sold that're safely with the people that bought them. One account in particular dates back to a couple of years ago.

Can't see threads in the market at the moment so I can't confirm which account Dreamhole refers to, I'm pretty sure it's a pure that has since been banned for reasons unknown to me. Let him make a report aswell, I'll have it out with all you.

Search anyones Sythe history that has been involved in sales, ANYONES. You'll find stuff that raises questions because such is the nature of selling such things. I've had people charge me back once they've sold off accounts I've sold them, I've had people get them banned to claim that I did it prior to sale. When someone loses something they've placed a monetary value in, on the internet, you can be sure as shit they'll attempt to recoup some of that as there are no repercussions from sitting behind your desktop.

This little smear campaign you've embarked on is of very little precedent to me. I can back myself up and rest safe in the knowledge that I'm not a little shit, unlike you!

After further investigations and speaking with other Staff, we have came to the conclusion that you had no right in taking matters into your own hands. Even though you may or may have "Anti-Scammed" in the good of the community you had no permission to do so. No matter who it is you are dealing with on Sythe, you have no right to just blatantly scam them.

@DeNiro You were also given more than enough time to PM myself or another staff member on the refund as well. You can dispute your ban here.
