Can anyone help me? My comp is fucked up.

Well when I go to start it up I get to the desktop and it restarts, i've tryed using the "don't automaticlly restart on system failure" thing and it still restarts. It DOES work in safe mode though..(which i'm in now.) I've scanned my computer with high speed security suite, AVG pro, AVG plus, spybot, and AVG spyware.. so i'm sure I don't have any viruses.. if anyone knows the problem it would be really helpful

yeah that happened to me...we had to get it repaired by like specialists

 

ide suggest its a 2004+? mabey the hard drive, my hard drive went out on my 2005 dell

 

i got it working.. i did a system restore from aug. 8th.. i have no clue what was wrong with it but it works now

 

i dont think its the hard drive... if it was it wouldnt even get to the desktop


it would say something like, your computer has failed to load the operating system.

 

If it was the harddrive then you would run an HDD Test in the BIOS and it would say no IDE detected. Try running a system restore to the day before it happened. System Restore is a miracle worker.

OMg too late.

 

Most likely a program you downloaded. Don't worry about it since System Restore fixed it.
