Waist of my time? CSGO SKIN TRADE

Hello i just want to point out my opinion on this matter and im unsure what to say.

On july 3rd i opened up a chat with a popular site here on sythe regarding selling my csgo skins. The chat went smooth and i was getting to the point where I could sell my CSGO skins. The problem is that i had to wait 15 days for the people to get it. I was fine with this and we both agreed to it.

When i went in 15 days later to claim my money, they told me they had no idea about it that they would have to talk to that operator about the sell. During this time my skin offer was canceled that day. Next i was told by the owner that they did not have the skins in their inventory and also told me to look at my inventory that the skins where still in my inventory.

I thought there was no way this could have happened. I contacted Steam and they told me that the other party canceled the trade.

My point here is that they had my skins locked up for 15 days i could not use them and then on the last day they canceled the trade and tried to play it off.

Im unsure about this and i want to know where other people stand on this. I know i got my items back but thats like someone taking gold from you and waiting for the market to do something and saying never mind we dont want it.

I am lost with this. Should there be a punishment for holding someone else's skins and not going through with the trade for 15 days. I think that this waisted my time and there should be a rule for this....

The terms given to you were after 15 days you would get the money and you agreed to those terms. The trade was canceled meaning all is well? If anything, you wasted your time at the most.

 

Thats my point they waisted my time and they had a hold on my skins the entire time i could have sold it to some one else by then

 

OT its skins, of course its a waste.
