Did this for a client some time ago, I just over-exposed the light little bit
other than that seems fine. what do you think?

I agree the exposed light is a bit much, but I'm guessing that may have been mandatory for best results. Honestly the first picture looks cooler though, maybe because you expect armymen to be in packs. Good work regardless.

On the topic, I've been doing a lot of small photo manip animations in after effects lately. Might post a collection if I deem anything worthy.

Top right portion is so fucked up. Can't believe this was a final product to a client.

May I ask how you did it? I know that people have different methods when it comes to doing this sort of manipulation. It would be interesting to see how you personally went about it.

Clone stamp tool is used mostly, and the right part is reconstructed with the brushes

at first look i was shocked at how good this was, super impressive my man.
after reading comments i can see what guys mean with the top right being a tad fucked up and what not, but regardless, with the main point of the photo behing perfect noones gunna pay that much attention to the background if its in a small photo frame on that dudes desk haha.

tldr i would totally pay good money for results like this, good job dude.

mind if i ask what it would cost to get one picture like this done with similar amount of work? just curious haha

The handle part is impressive, wouldn't have been easy to do. Was that the hardest part?
