I won 28 from him then we DoN'd twice which = $112.

I calculated 3 x $28 bets which equals $84. Where is the 4th $28 bet? On page 76 there seem to be 3. @Be My Bae

You're correct.

First $28 bet I won, we DoN'd (I won so that's 56), and we dueled again for the 3rd time which was a DoN from $56 so that is $112 in the end.
