Why should I be a User Educator?

Hello. My name is Bill. I think i should be a User Educator because I like to help people out. In return for helping people out i get the satisfaction of a job well down. Knowing that i helped someone out makes me happy by the end of the day. Being a User Educator, too me means that people can come to me for help. So when someone has a question and they see someone with a User Educator title, they know they can turn to the person for help. I would like to be one of those people. Helping people in need. Also i think i should be a User Educator because i have awesome social skills. I have patience and i am willing to work with people, even if they are very blonde. This is why i think you should consider me as a User Educator.

The Pingpong Smoke Bomb

For this project you will need to acquire the following supplies:
-(1) Pair of Scissors
-(4) Unused Pingpong Balls
-(1) Very Sharp Pencil
-(1) Roll of Aluminum Foil

First you have to find a clean working area. Make sure you have a table that is cleaned off very well. Make sure you are not working near any flamable liquids or objects.

Now, you have your area set up take on pingpong ball. Puncture a small hole in the top of the said pingpong ball. Make sure the pencil does go all the way through, but also make sure you have a big enough hole.

Now take your pencil out, carefully. Cut up bits of the remaining three pingpong balls and put them inside the whole of the first pingpong ball. After you put the peices of the pingpong ball, move onto the next step.

Next, put the pencil back in the whole. Wrap the intire pingpong ball in the Aluminum Foil. Also wrap up some of the pencil (half way or less should do it). Now slowly take the pencil out.

Congratulations you know have your finished project.

Now to set it off.
Take your lighter and spark it. Now place the flame under the ball. Smoke should start leaking out of it. DO NOT BREATHE IT IN! it smells bad...

Variations:

You can put a staw in where the pencil was. Mybe it makes it cool or better? I'm not sure.

Free Food From Vending Machine

First you will need to get these supplies:
-(1) Brand Spankin New 1 Dollar Bill
-(1) Roll of Duct Tape
-(1) Vending Machine
-(1) Friend to Watch Your Back

Now get out your Brand Spankin New 1 Dollar Bill and rap Duct Tape rap 2/4 to 3/5 inches up the end of the Brand Spankin New 1 Dollar Bill. When you cut the tape, the tape must be atleast four 1/2 feet long to work. You have to make sure that there ARE NO WRINKLES ON THE BILL OR THE TAPE. Now slowly instert the Brand Spankin New 1 Dollar Bill very carefully into the machine. When the machine displays the money pull the Brand Spankin New 1 Dollar Bill out of the machine. You can do this as many times as your stomach desires! I found you cannot get refuned money, just sodas.

On-The-Go iPod Charger


You will need the following things for this project:
100ohm or slightly greater resistor. all i had was a 330ohm which works. don't try anything lower than 100ohm.
9v battery connector and 9v battery
flat female usb connector that mates with your device's usb cable

Connect everything as shown above. A board makes it easy, but in a pinch you could just wrap ends together. The top two wires go to the battery and the bottom two are connected to the female half of the usb cable.

Now plug your ipod cabel into the On the go ipod charger and plug the other end into the ipod.


how it works
the resistor is there to keep the circuit from shorting when the load (your iPod) is removed. if you use a resistor less than 100 ohms you'll know it because it will get hot. if you use too large a resistor, you won't be able to supply enough current to your device.

Now you can make your own case for it. I will tell you how in another guide.

Ipod Caring Cases

Ok, for the first ipod caring case you will need the following supplies:
-Exacto Knife
-Sharpie
-Ipod
-A paper back book, atleast two times as four times as thick as the ipod

Now take your paper back book and open it to about 1/4 the way threw the book. Place your iPod in the center. Now take out your sharpie. While holding your Ipod firmly in place, trace your iPod with the sharpie.

Now you have your outline for your ipod. Get your exacto knife out and cut along the sharpies lines. Do not cut through the whole book! After you finished cutting out the rectangle, take out all of the papers. Throw them away in your trash can, trust me... they make a big mess!

Now place your iPod into the book and see if it fits. If it it does congratz and skip down to the next paragraph. If it doesn't keep reading on. Now your left with mybe 1 uneven edge? Or a couple? well its very simple, just user your exacto knife and cut out the access paper, or you can take cissors. Which ever one is easier.

Well now you have finished it. If you don't want just a case, then measure out exactly where your head phones would be if it was in the case, and draw a line with the sharpie leading from the cut out center all the way out. Now take your cissors and cut on both of those lines. If the head phone wire needs a little more room the just cut out a little more.

Now you are finished!!

How To Rip Videos Off of Youtube

For this project you don't need much, but you can't reall improvise so here you go:

-Camtasia Studio you can get free here - http://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasiatrial.asp

-A youtube video (preferably two)

Now first install Camtasia Studio onto your computer. Simple, right?
Ok now you have to open Camtasia, which should be on your desktop. If not go to Start -> Programs -> Camtasia.exe

Just hit try or trial version when it pops up. It should take you to a video editing screen type thing. Now look for the thing that says Record the screen.
Now click it. Then select "Region of the screen" as what you would like to record. Now hit next.

Now open your youtube video, but also leave the recording screen open. Now click select region and select the video region on the youtube window. Hit next when you think you have it. Now it will say what would you like to record again. Click the "Record Audio" one if it is not already clicked. Hit next. Now you must click "Speaker Audio (what you hear)" for it to turn out right. So click that. Hit next again. Now hit finish.
Now you will see a window with the volume, fixed region and camera. DONT TOUCH ANYTHING. Make sure the video is paused. Now hit play and quickly hit F9 after. When the video ends hit F9 again to stop. Now another window will pop up and load your video. After its done the video will play then stop. Click the save button! and save it as youtube video on your desktop. A screen will pop up again to process your recording. Now after its done it will say "What would you like to do next" click on "Edit my Recording" and hit OK!

Now in the menu bar of the next screen that pop ups under PRODUCE, click Produce video as.... When the next window pops up click on "Custom Production Settings" hit next.

If you want a video the best format for camtasia is AVI NOT WMV! so click on AVI video! Then hit Next, then next again, and again unclick "Include watermark" and hit next again. Again hit next. Then save it to your desktop as "Youtube video". Now the video will start to produce into a shareable format. Another window will pop up showing you the finished project.

Congratz, you just ripped a video off of youtube!!

Yea dude try it out, the more pieces you shove into the pingpong ball the longer and thicker the smoke.

Umm, about the vending machine trick, it usually only works with old ones, the rest just rip ur dollar...

Sorry, didn't mean for anyone to get hurt, i did not expect it to do that at all.. But i dont see how it can blow up without anything to actually blow up. Mybe if you didnt leave a little whole opening the smoke would build pressure inside and explode.
