Marijuana is very harmful and the only reason why people want it legal is because they're getting high off it and don't want to worry about getting thrown in jail.

 

It's actually up to some debate whether it's harmful. It has been linked with mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia however, the vast majority of people that smoke it remain perfectly normal. I'm all for legalization here in the UK as it also has medicinal uses.

cigarettes are legal. they cause cancer. lots of doctors think that marijuana is good for you. basically, according to the gov't pot is illegal b/c it makes you high.

The real reason its illegal is b/c they cant tax it. it has been illegal for too long and the shipping of it over here from other countries is too powerful to destroy. so basically its never gunna be legal b/c the gov't is greedy.
