here's an example- my latest topic i made was of a small glitch that happened in firefox regarding the spell-checker. i got a screenshot of this silly picture, and here was a response by one of the MANY DIM-WITTED people who ABUSE THIS STATEMENT

i seriously want to [but will not because it is against the law] SHANK a lot of people on this forum.

STOP THE ABUSE

for all of you who abuse, or even USE this statement, YOU SUCK

for all the rest, i respect that you DO NOT use this, and am happy that this forum is not littered only with ASS-HOLES

No where on your topic did you say that it was a glitch for the moment..

You can be sent to jail for many crimes.

But on the "internet"
It's nearly impossible for just threating someone unless its said on a (EXAMPLE) "AOL chat room" Then the issue arises with your ISP :-\

But nothing can be done for just threating someone.

 

it doesn't matter what you say it to, ITS ANNOYING
it drastically lowers my opinion of anybody who says it.

in your sig you have a quote of me saying that you're such a cool guy, this is still true, but I HATE THAT PHRASE

P.S. nowhere on that topic does it say that i DISLIKE or DISAPPROVE or otherwise DO NOT APPRECIATE firefox. i do indeed prefer it over any other web browser

 

You fail, don't be pissed just because people use certain sayings. I don't like some other phrases people say, but I don't get all mad. Does it really matter that much?

 

it's not just because it's annoying, but because everyone uses it. it has lost any meaning it may have one had when the first guy used it, and now everybody uses it.

Still I mean, you are making such a big deal out of it. It is not that much overused and even if it was, who really cares?

 

No no no, the phrase lol is over used.

 

On the "you suck" part, I half-expected you to say "you fail". What's the big deal? People say it all the time, not like you can do much about it.

yes, but "lol" isn't offensive, or tries to be offensive
i don't know anyone bothered by the use of "lol" it's not abused, it's overused.
