Buying of RSGP/Items and possible wipes

I recently got wiped while I was logged on, 5 minutes after purchasing RSGP from a seller. I understand how the trading of large amounts of gold can be suspicious (Seeing how people use lower level mules which can cause flags to raise), but does this occur for items as well? Since I was wiped after purchasing 75mil, if I were to purchase an item of higher value (Let's say H'ween masks, Santas, Phats, which all categorize as 100mil+ RSGP items) will these items be wiped away as well, or is there a slightly lower chance of being resetted if you were to stake for the item rather than RSGP

As long as you are not traded the money, you will not be wiped. If you legitimately make the gold by playing RS, it will most likely not be wiped.

 

Try using Drop trade, Duel arena, or wilderness to transfer next time and only money traded will make you get wiped.

What about making big bets on dicing, is that safe?

 

Should be safe, I don't think I've seen anyone banned for gambling.
