What would be considered "smart botting"?

Hey guys, I'm new to this botting stuff so I need some tips. I have at least half the bots on rsbots.net and am in the process of leveling my main's stats. So what would be considered smart botting? Right now I'm leveling firemaking and am planning on getting 99's in whatever skills I can get.

Main things would be to check it every so often to make sure your bot is not malfunctioning. It is also better to bot with breaks turned OFF. When breaks are on they will cause your character to do weird things and walk around aimlessly and randomly. This makes people think that you are a bot. Do not bot in very populated areas, sometimes it is even better to bot where there is only a bunch of other botters instead of a few legit players. If you do that than you have a less chance of being reported. Lastly do not bot 24/7 or in times you would not usually play at. I would recommend no more then 10 hours on your main account.

Oh like FlyingToast said too, use paid bots they are a lot better quality.

Smart botting in my eyes is -

8 hours or less a day.

    Using paid bots.

    No breaks.

    Talk from time to time.

Babysit to make sure you don't fail a random.

Well if your doing a skill like fletching or crafting. I recommend you bot in soul wars bank. There will be no randoms there to interupt you and your basically free to bot away. I've botted 15+ hours there at a time with no problems. Just log into an SW world and there are hundreds of people botting right next to the bank. Also people auto alching all around you. The only way your going to be busted is if a J Mod comes and surprises you but in all my 6+ years on RS, I've never seen a J Mod in game since 4 years ago world 2 fally.

Bot hard, 24/7 with premium bots (anti-ban, full randoms).

Read the forums about 'bot busting' and change worlds accordingly.

Can someone explain in a bit more detail why taking breaks is bad? Seems like taking breaks would make the acc look more legit.

There's no such thing as 'smart' botting. Although, keeping it to a minimum, and babysitting is the best you can do.

I've been botting a while and these are the important tips:
    1. NO NAKED BOTTING- wear some kind of armor, if anything
    2. No breaks- Breaks are bad.
    3. 21/7
    4. Babysit if you can

dont bot the same skill every day until its level 99.
real players get bored, also people will tend to notice that you have spent the last month doing nothign but that 1 skill.
mix it up, perhaps do 1 skill one day. train another for a couple days then switch back.

take MANUAL breaks. dont let the bot itsself take breaks. its too much room for error, something you dont want. the bot may spend 4 hours standing there clicking a log. log out yourself then restart script.
