How do i get fonts from dafont into photoshop and how do i animate text?

Hey=)

I am new at photoshop and i just wanna know how i add a font from dafont into photoshop cs3...

And how do i animate text?
Like glowing...And stuff like that

 

c:/windows/fonts

drag the fonts you want into there and they will install, vola you got yourself some new fonts

I haven't did a bit of GFX in a while; however, to animate text, you need to first have the Adobe Imageready (I think it is). Once you have that, or any other animating program, you must do a tween on the frame with the text, then just duplicate the same frames that show up when you tween them; only duplicate them backwards, that way the text will start to appear, appear fully, then disappear. It will do this over and over again, which is the process of animation .

How do i animate them self?
And...i can't get in C:...so i can't get fonts from dafont=(...

Got any tips?

 

You local hard drive, H: C: D: W/e, go in go to Windows then to Fonts

 

To get fonts, just do this...

Get winRAR, download a font from dafont and it should ask you to archive. Archive the font file to some folder on your computer. Then go to that folder, and just cut that font file, and go to your control panel, and click appearance and themes. In the top left you see fonts, click that and paste that font into there, and you have your font now.

 

Go to control panel, appearances and themes, fonts. Drag fonts in there.

To animate, click tools (in PS), then check off animation. Make frames with a different opacity text in each one, then go to imageready and play it.
