Beware! Msn Exploit! All Read!

This isn't an exactly new exploit, but it's fairly new, and obviously no one has heard about it, or thought it would happen to them. Lately a user here on sythe named UnOre has been using MSN mimic, or a similiar exploit to make it look like I'm talking, when truly it's just him. Here's one pic of him using it on another one making the other guy believe it was really me talking.

THE NUMBER ONE WAY TO MAKE SURE THE MM IS REAL, is to simply have them PM you in a separate window, the guy can't do anything if he's not in the convo.

My MSN is [email protected]
My RSN is and will always be Hotdog_00000
My font is and will always be red
My status will always be ONLINE if I'm doing or free to MM.

If any of those 4 things are not present, IT IS NOT ME!



Here are a few ways to make sure you don't get caught by this, I've already refunded a few people of what they lost, but after this, I will not.

1. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THEY PM YOU ON SYTHE. No matter what excuse they use, the PM system WILL NEVER be offline or inaccessible to MMs or anyone else.

2. Does it just feel weird? Looking at all the convos, every single person said it didn't feel right, and most backed out, though some went through, if you have any feeling at all something might be wrong, simply tell him to either wait or to back out.

3. Does the MM and the other guy have the same font? If they do, they probably are using the exploit as usually they use the same font as their own, but they can do it with others aswell so watch out.

4. Does the MM status say AWAY or IDLE, probably a sign saying HE'S NOT REALLY THERE.

Last but not least, use your common sense, the excuse Steph is upgrading accounts should never be believed, or something like I can't PM you, but I'll get Steph to email you, no...

BE CAREFUL AND WATCH OUT, report all people using this in the REPORT A SCAMMER forum.

A disguise trick? Things are getting crazier on MSN every moment.

 

You can also make sure to never turn on away and just log off when you're not at your computer.

And if the excuse that sythe is down or something, you can ask them to e-mail you too. What are they going to say? "Hotmail is down,too..."

 

He tried this on me, I banned him and requested an IP ban.
