Why do people call each other noobs?

there is no reason to call each other n00bs
i mean everyone was a (n00b)once y would u call other people that?

is it to raise ur low self esteem?!?

i was never a noob, i mean, i was low level once, but i never asked people for things or follow people arround and annoy them.

 

I think they do it o release anger.. people really often are quite stupid.. like when people buy those make you millions uides..... i mean.. seriously just like cut some logs or something..... so yeah.. i think that it is quite stupid....... but... even though this word is passed around ite often at my school by nerds (ik me ) =P..... I don't really care what it is........ i think it is good that Jagex has specifically stated in their rules that people cannot get in trouble for calling people nooobs.... and i hate them.. they truly are annoying so i spit this vulgar of sorts out quite often on runescape 9it said intelligent discussion, lol) so yeah.... i think overall it is a thing that is to be had but is too often used... it should be llimited to how often you should use it or something like that..... so yeah.. =)...

Well, I rarely use it but most people under 13 use it 24/7 because they hear it and use it to feel better .. I guess?

Everyone above that age uses the word "noob" when someone says "Selling Bronze set only 10k!!"

 

We call people noobs, for two reasons.
First reason, is you need your self esteem raised
Second reason, is that they are annoying you so that is your only comeback

A noob is a new person to something. It annoys me to see people calling each other noobs, in the wrong context. Basically shows they know nothing of it, making them noobs themselves.

because in RS alot of people are too immature to even know why they call people a noob.

they think they look cool by impersonating other people.

example:
playerA: wanna buy rune legs
scammer: here are rune legs *puts in iron legs*
playerA: *too stupid to look, pays for the iron legs and shouts* NOOB!!!
playerB: *sees what playerA said and starts calling other people a noob.
players C - ZZZZZZZ pick this up and so start the immature strugle of the noob.
