High posters
Special ranks
Trusted members

Can hang/talk/trade.

A kind of safe zone for trusted members?
I dislike noobs vouching for scammers.

Anyone agree or am i alone ?

No way, then new people will never get trusted/go into that area because the only people that can vouch for them are new people, so trades will stop with the new people, and the veterans will prolly stop too. Then sythe.org will be abandoned. Then Big Bang 2 will happen and we will all die.

As u see, its not that favourable.

 

If we did this, which we wouldn't as it'd cause pointless spamming and such, but if we did we'd have to look at around 500+ maybe 750 posts really, because 250 isn't anything hard to get to.

Though the idea still wouldn't really work.

 

It will turn it into Fagex in a way. But yea something like this would also create more work and more categories to control but i like the idea

No, because theres not really a reason for it.

 

No, there is absolutely no point in that.
Why make some kind of premium zone? If your "elite" enough to consider yourself worthy of being in a section like that you should already be skilled enough to avoid scams, and by then you'll have learned to spot the noobs/useless people.

Those who are really trusted/experienced/"1337" enough to be able to join a special forum like that (if it ever existed) wouldn't really need it.

I strongly disagree, that means new members will never be trusted. Also you will probably always trust these members, so it will be easier for scammers to scam

 

That doesn't make sense at all.. What does trusted members scamming new people possibly have to do with an elite section of the site?

 

Post count restrictions would just increase spam which would mean more work for us mods. So no go. It's not like anyone would trust someone with a low post count anyways, so what's the point?

There are already private forums available to people who have special ranks (e.g. the staff lounge)

As for hanging out with long-time members, there aren't that many left who haven't scammed. If you want to see some of them, try the IRC. That's pretty much a royalty-only place.
