Challenge System Question....

Has anyone had this challenge yet? 13 urns is a lot of mining, is it worth the exp reward?

 

I would say just go for it - it's half decent exp anyway combined with the challenge reward would be more exp/hour then you could normally get

 

the only reason to do challenges is if you are going to do EVERY daily challenge that you have available. When you do this, you get a bag with random items USUALLY worth over 500k, plus decent xp. If you are just going to do that urn challenge i would say no. That would be a waste of time.

 

I'm aware how the system works, I just want to know if anyone's done this particular one and how much exp they got.

 

Do it, You get the xp from filling up the erns and teleporting them and you also get massive amount of mining xp for finishing the task. Its honestly up to you. But with daily task, it gives you a decent amount of xp.

 

I know this. I want to know the amount of exp awarded.

 

I consider it to be worthwhile if you aren't 99 mining yet. Teleporting thirteen urns really doesn't take that long to do, and you will get the mining xp from mining to fill those urns + a decent xp bonus from completing the challenge.

While I'm not sure on the next xp rates on this particular challenge, I'd say just go for it xP

edit: I just read through and realized that someone basically has already said the same as me. I think the xp rates differ depending on your mining level? So it would be hard to tell you how much xp you are going to get.

Its really not that long of a task, just push through it and determine whether or not you think that its worth it in the future.

 

I'm yet to actually do a challenge, but I'm going to start doing them I think, as I've heard they're good xp. 13 mining urns is a good 2 hours I think, might be mistaken (around 6/hr with conc gold)

 

Can someone tell me about the reward system?

 

You're asked to do certain tasks for certain skills, 1 each day and they last a week. You can do them one at a time or all 7 at the end of the week. If the skill requires you just training and you produce nothing after it e.g. (Prayer, Dungeoneering etc) then you are given a spin on the Squeal of Fortune and an experience reward. The EXP rate is usually quite generous. If you have one where you are left with items you've made, for example d'hide bodies from crafting, you're given a spin on the Squeal of Fortune; an experience reward and other items equal to the value of the goods you produced and a small amount of cash to make up the difference.


Anyway, I don't have the challenge anymore, so anymore replies aren't useful to me. Lock this.

 

As far as I can tell, there is no description as to how much bonus experience you will earn from any Daily Challenge task. Common sense would say it's worth your time and effort as you're going to receive a bonus regardless. Apparently you're required to be 59 Mining to complete this challenge anyways so it can't hurt to do it. EDIT: You mentioned above that the experience reward is generous, all I can say is go for it.
