That is the dumbest bet to take. It's impossible for you to win. I personally hold 2012 as the most significant date in the history of our universe, but still wouldn't take that bet. 2013 comes around and you lost all your shit. If the world "ends" then guess what you get? Nothing! You're dead!

 

Seriously, it's just a conspiracy theory. And once 2012 comes around and nothing happens, you'll all say it'll be in 2021...

Yea people have said to predict the end of the world but so far none have came true but then again this one is a special one because different people from different cultures predicted the same time I guess we'll just have to wait and see but again I highly doubt the world will end.

Interesting topic. I have looked into it all for my self really. Personally I think that the Mayan calender ends at 2012 because the Mayan tribes probably knew that their tribes weren't going to live on forever, So they just stopped adding days at 2012 . Plus I have also heard that the anti-Christ will be born on the year 2012 as well... We just won't know till 3 more years, so live them to the fullest. .

 

He's wrong and confused. They talk about the "dark rift" (obviously referring to the super massive black hole, don't ask me how they had this information) not the sun being the center of the universe. Dark of course meaning starless and rift meaning tear or opening. The predictions involve the 13th zodiac Ophiuchus (the dark rift) passing through and causing various shit to happen. The Mayans called this Quetzalcoatl, not Ophiuchus, just to clarify things.

They predicted their own demise... There were predictions of the conquistadors killing all of their people off long before it actually occurred. They never thought their civilization as they knew it would get to witness this thing.

I don't need to watch the show to know this. I can pretty much guarantee I know more about the subject than anyone here, perhaps with the exception of Ughster and maybe a few others. I'm not trying to brag; I have just done a lot of research on the topic. Like literally hundreds of hours of research.


Furthermore, just because something is on the History Channel doesn't mean it's correct. Like I said, I have a pretty wide base on 2012 predictions from mystics (both modern and ancient). The Mayans were a lot smarter than to say the sun appeared to be the center of the galaxy. I don't really know what you even mean. They most certainly talked about the dark rift as the center.

 

They wouldn't put something that's false on the History Channel. I know what it said, if you dont get it thats your fault.
