Family isn't even funny.

I hate how everywhere you go, someone decides to start a conversation about family guy and starts quoting the least funny phrases I've heard in my life.

I mean sure.. for a cartoon it's alright. It bores me but it's alright.

It's about as funny as Mad Tv which you'd think by being on comedy central would be funny.

To make a show funny for me, I have to be able to laugh by myself or in the most awkward situation.

It's one of those shows that when you're with a group of people you all laugh at lame parts at the same time just for kicks.

Does anyone else agree or do you just wanna flame me? Have fun either way.

 

I'm the same way..I don't get amused from shows like that...maybe it's just be but I never watch that crap anyway.

 

Unless there's some amazingly funny part, I don't laugh. I do think it's an amusing show though, just not outragously funny.

 

i find family guy a really good show. i never watched it til about a year ago or so. i love watching to see what they will say next. i find alot of the stuff on the show funny

 

It just reminds me of the quality of bathroom humor which is low.

Every show has an endless plot.. that's one thing that makes it a show.

 

every show has its own plot. you never have to watch family guy and you can understand it even if it was your first time...

Well based on lack of humor, this sucks. Otherwise it's a well made cartoon.

 

I hate family guy, it goes to over the top in trying to make shit funny.

 

What about the shows based on books? Many shows I've watched never get past 14 episodes, as the entire story is completed by then.

I haven't watched Family Guy in ages. I do think that some of it is funny, but I'm rather unbiased towards it.

I'm certainly not bias towards it. It's just not funny. In fact, I try to like it just to use in conversations.

Even shows based on books seem to have "never ending plots".

 

Normally I never laugh if I'm watching something/anythng by myself.

But I still like "Family GUY"..

 

Like the movie based on the Book "The Never-Ending Story". It was 94 minutes long. Then they made a sequel. It was 89 minutes long. They both failed.

Anyways, back on topic, it is a well-made cartoon, but sometimes they do wear out the same jokes.. something I noticed after I just watched an episode lol

 

Apparently it's funny because it's spontaneous.
I don't find it that great. It's occasionally funny, but I get my laughs from Futurama. The humour is much more subtle and clever than Family Guy.
